City Parks and Trails

Welcome to St. Croix Falls, the City of Trails!
With one-third of the city set aside in preserve and numerous trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and biking, the “City of Trails” is situated along the picturesque St. Croix Riverway, a nationally-designated Wild and Scenic River. The multi-state Gandy Dancer and Ice Age Trails both run through the city, as does our own amazing trail system. More trails are offered through both Wisconsin and Minnesota Interstate Parks, and there’s always the beautiful St. Croix River itself.
